EnoB Music Education Program

EnoB, in collaboration with Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York (KCS), launched its Senior Music Education Program in April 2023, with the goal of instilling the love of music into the lives of seniors who are underprivileged and isolated. A professional singer provides them with weekly singing lessons and then guides them singing together which gives them a sense of community and pride in belonging to a group.

They get to explore a wide range of genres, from Korean pop music to Korean classical songs, appreciating the lyrics and following the instructor’s guidance in singing. They also get to learn musical symbols and how to convey the unique characteristics of each song. As they sing together, they experience the joy and emotional healing that music offers.

This program is sponsored by William & Munja Orzolek Foundation.
